The Charholi-Lohegaon road

A news report from 29 August 2024 describes a 90-metre-wide road connecting the Pune-Nagar and Pune-Nashik highways, with about 90% complete at that time. The report says the airport is six to seven kilometres from Charholi via this road, compared with a 20 to 22 km detour through Dighi and Vishrantwadi that took more than an hour in traffic. The two sources measure the airport distance differently, so check the current route yourself.
